Honey & Ginger Chicken wings

Easy Honey & Ginger Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

2 dozen chicken wings
Small bunch chopped spring onions
1 chopped fresh red chilli
5T honey
2T soy sauce
2cm piece of ginger
5 sprigs of fresh thyme

Method 

Mix chilli & spring onions with the honey and soy sauce; then peel, then grate in the ginger, and pick in the thyme leaves & mix all of the above well. 

Place the chicken wings in a single layer in a wide, shallow dish. Pour over the marinade, cover and place in the fridge to marinate for 24 hours.

Cook the wings on a hot pan for 15 to 20 minutes, or until dark and the juices run clear. If cooking on a braai, finish the wings in the oven at 180ÂșC for 10 to 15 minutes to make sure they’re cooked through.
