2 cloves of garlic chopped finely
1 cup of mix veggies ( optional)

1/2 an onion chopped finely
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cloves of garlic chopped finely
1 cup of mix veggies ( optional)
2 cups of sliced mushrooms
Half a cup of fresh cream or milk
1 tablespoon of chicken ala king powder mix or flour or cornflour
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of chicken braai masala
1 teaspoon of aromat
Method
In a very hot pan, add a tablespoon of butter and fry mushrooms till all moisture has cooked away and it starts turning a brown / caramelized. Now set aside in a bowl.
In the same pan on high heat, add butter, onion, chicken, garlic, salt and black pepper and spices and fry for five minutes, add mix veg, stir fry until all moisture has cooked away, add cream and flour or chicken a la king mix and stir. Add mushrooms and stir, set aside to cool, then put in the fridge to chill completely.
Preheat oven to 200° C, grease a large baking tray.
Don't roll out puff pastry, just lay it open on a floured surface, cut each square in half, now you have four pieces of puff pastry, place enough filling to cover half of each piece of pastry. Fold over each piece of pastry and press closed with fork. Egg wash each pie. Place on baking tray and bake until golden brown, 25-30 minutes.
You can make smaller pies as well by cutting the pastry into smaller squares.
