Easy Cheesy Pasta Bake
Ingredients
1 pack of penne or macaroni pasta, cooked as per packet instructions.
500 ml fresh cream
2&1/2 tbsp cornflour stirred into 1/2 cup of milk
3 chilies, chopped
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut into slices
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
3 tsp mustard powder
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
10 slices of mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Some fresh basil leaves
1 clove of garlic, finely grated
500 ml fresh cream

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Method
Heat the cream in a saucepan, add the milk and cornflour mixture, salt, black pepper and mustard powder and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
Next, in a large bowl, mix together the cooked pasta, white sauce, cheddar cheese, chopped chilies and parsley and pour into a large baking dish. Place the rest of the ingredients on top of pasta mix and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
Serve with a green salad.
You may add cooked chicken, prawns or tuna to this mixture before baking.
