KFC deep fried chicken

Ingredients
3 Cups SR flour
Carton Buttermilk
Chicken Breast X 3 cut into strips
2 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Onion salt
1 tsp Dried sage
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
1 tsp Cracked black pepper
1 tsp Dried basil
Oil for frying
(Crush the herbs with mortar and pestle)

Method
Place chicken in container and cover with buttermilk (reserve at least 4 tablespoons)
Marinate 3-4 hours or overnight
Mix flour and spices together with a fork
Add 3 tablespoons of buttermilk and mix with fork until flour has a clumpy breadcrumb texture.
Remove chicken from buttermilk and place immediately into flour mixture.
Coat chicken well on both sides
Heat oil to 170C
Fry until golden brown and cooked through.
Fry one then test it to get cooking time right.
